Day 1 Bezelling. Explore different bezelling techniques using different stitches, different sized seed beads and different methods with shaped beads.
Day 2 Beaded Ropes. Explore different ways to create beaded ropes to match different projects to include a Kumihimo rope. Look at the stitches that perform best and again using seed beads and shaped beads investigate ways to create a rope to match your own designs.
Day 3 Extending a design to create earrings and bracelets to match. Do all bracelet patterns lend themselves to being a necklace? Do all necklace designs lend themselves to being a bracelet? Do earrings have to be small copies of the original?
It is a treat to bead with a group with other beaders. It leads to a very creative space and wonderful opportunities to learn from each other, see other people’s colour choices and support each other in the design process.
