About Sue Conboy

Founder of Curious Creatives | Coach | Educator | Neurodivergent Changemaker

Hi, I’m Sue - a former police trainer, transformational coach, neurodiversity workplace assessor, and lifelong creative.

If that sounds like a mixed bag – you’re not wrong. But everything I do is connected by a common thread:

Helping people find clarity, confidence, and a space to breathe - whether that’s through creativity, coaching, or workplace support.

After almost 30 years in policing (on the frontline and in the classroom), I saw the cost of unsupported neurodivergence, burnout, and feeling like you don’t quite fit the mould. I also saw what happens when people are given space, tools, and compassion – they thrive.

That’s why I created Curious Creatives.

Creativity as a Catalyst

I run art retreats, creative workshops, and hands-on classes that help people reconnect with their spark - especially those who feel like they've lost their way a bit.  These aren't just about glitter and glue (though there may be both). They're about making time to make things, and rediscovering joy in the process.

Whether you're joining us in the Cotswolds, the Peak District, or crafting at your kitchen table, you'll find community, encouragement, and a gentle invitation to play.

Coaching for Humans Who Want More

You know something's not working, but can't name it.  Maybe you're stuck. Burnt out. Questioning your career. Wondering where your spark went.

As an Advanced Practitioner in Transformational Coaching, I work with creatives, professionals in transition (especially those in policing or frontline roles), and nuerodivergent clients who are ready to rewrite the script.

It's deep, practical, human work - grounded in neuroscience, coaching psychology, and human conversation.

Workplace Needs Assessments That Actually Help

I'm also a qualified Level 4 Workplace Needs Assessor, offering support to organisations who want to go beyond compliance and create genuinely inclusive environments.

I specialise in supporting:

  • Public sector teams (especially policing, NHS, education)

  • Corporate clients who want to walk their EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) talk

  • Neurodivergent individuals navigating complex workplaces

With lived experience of ADHD, a background in adult education, and a real-world understanding of organisational systems, I bring a trauma-aware, neuroinclusive, and practical lens to my assessments.

Threads That Bind It All Together

Creativity. Courage. Curiosity. Compassion.

These are the values behind everything I offer.  I believe in work that's human, healing, and real. Whether you're booking a craft retreat, a coaching session, or a workplace assessment, you're not just getting a service - you're getting someone who gets it.

Because I've been the one masking.

I've been the one stuck.

And I've been the one who needed someone to see things differently.
