Louise Pocock is a highly accomplished milliner renowned for her bespoke, hand-stitched creations that beautifully blend traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary twist. Working from her studio in Malvern Wells, nestled at the foot of the picturesque Malvern Hills, Louise designs hats and headpieces for private commissions, special occasions, and fashion enthusiasts seeking unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Her work has been celebrated in The Guardian, Good Housekeeping, and Cotswold Life for its meticulous detail, timeless elegance, and creative flair.
With a rich background in fashion and textiles, Louise holds City & Guilds Advanced Diplomas in Millinery and is a proud member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen. Her journey into millinery began with a passion for fabric draping and an eye for detail, and she has since built a career dedicated to the art of hat-making.
Beyond her studio, Louise shares her knowledge and passion with students around the world through millinery workshops and City & Guilds accredited courses. Louise is thrilled to be joining Curious Creatives for the August 2025 retreat at Kingham Hill School, where she’ll lead a three-day millinery masterclass. As a former millinery teacher to Curious Creatives' founder Sue, Louise is delighted to reconnect and share her expertise with a new group of creative minds.
